An interesting Rotary program of fellowship is the Rotary Friendship Exchange. This activity, originally recommended by the New Horizons Committee in 1981, is intended to encourage Rotarians and spouses to visit with Rotarian families in other parts of the world. It may be conducted on a club-to-club or district-to-district basis.

The idea is for several Rotarian couples to travel to another country on the Rotary Friendship Exchange. Later the hospitality is reversed when the visit is exchanged. After a successful pilot experiment, the Rotary Friendship Exchange has become a permanent program of Rotary.

Many clubs are formed these days out of friendship and also helps people finding friends who come with them for the rest of their lives. This does not mean people join clubs such as Rotary to find their best friends but people who are members tend to become friends and sometimes these bonds are extremely close.

Why does this happen? This is not just because they are exposed to each other frequently or a friendship formed out of familiarity. This friendship is formed due to the like mindedness of the members. People with similar ideas or interests strive to make the world a better place to live in. when people with such intentions are put together in the same room, you are bound to see some f the strongest bonds form.

Rotary itself is for friendship. There are many fellowship tours and meetings which aims to inculcate friendship between members of different clubs. This is similar to how kings used to interact and become friends, so that their countries are also declared as friends and this aids many commerce and trades. Similarly, with rotary, it helps the clubs do better and help people in a better way.

Different clubs will have different ideas and access to different resources. When a friendship is formed between them, they can put all their resources together and create something bigger.

You may have knowledge about the trading industry, while a person may have the capability to read various charts. When both join together, they can do some in-depth analysis and invest accordingly. This is exactly how Infinity App helps. It brings together all the details fed into it and makes investment decisions that can be highly beneficial to any investor.

The Rotary Friendship Exchange is frequently compared to the Group Study Exchange program of The Rotary Foundation, except that it involves Rotarian couples who personally pay for all expenses of their intercountry experience. Doors of friendship are opened in a way which could not be duplicated except in Rotary.

Rotarians seeking an unusual vacation and fellowship experience should learn more about the Rotary Friendship Exchange. Some unusual Rotary adventures are awaiting you!

Rotary Friendship Exchange

Rotary Friendship Exchange is Rotary’s international exchange program for Rotarians and their families. Friendship Exchange provides participants the opportunity to experience other cultures by staying in the homes of Rotarians in other countries. The program aims to advance international understanding and peace through personal contact across borders while developing interclub relationships for fellowship and service projects.

There are three types of Friendship Exchanges:

Visitor Program
Individual Rotarians, who may be accompanied by family members, spend a few days in the home of a Rotarian in another country.

Team Program
Rotarian couples, typically four to six, visit several communities in a host district for up to one month.

Host and guest Rotarians of the same occupation observe how their job is done in other countries.
