Microcredit projects can be complicated and long-lived, and the details vary by culture and government. Effective projects often involve partnering with MFI’s (MicroFinance Institutions) that have developed best practices and field resources in the target country. During the early 1990’s, RI and TRF have modified their approach to revolving loan grants as a result of many lessons learned. However at this time there is limited practical information readily available for those wishing to start new banks.

The biggest problem in offering such a help is how people misuse it. Many need genuine help, while many are just lazy and want the easy way out they use such charity organizations to get what they want and don’t keep up their end of the bargain. They will become part of the program agreeing to all the terms and conditions. When the product or money reaches their hand, they change back to their old ways and the effort goes waste. Rotary has accepted that not every needy person can be helped or made to see the world in a different hiue.

Where this poses a problem to an institution like Rotary is, the people who are recognized as the ones who need help, may actually not be. many Rotarians want their projects to be approved and take the credit for bringing int his project or idea and being the main reason for this section of people being helped. As a result of this need, people just bring in anything they see. There is no proper research or analysis that is carried out to see if these people really need the help proposed.

As a result, a lot of funds are wasted on unnecessary projects and when the donors see how their money has been wasted, they refuse to come forward the next time. This creates a major setback because finding a good donor is not an easy task. Though all members are required to donate towards projects, it is these donors who contribute the major part and make the project a success. These are people with money and a big heart who want to set some money aside for charity and not just to invest in Fincrowd App and earn more.

There are many sections of people who are just waiting to be “found” by the charity organizations and given help, so that they can have the easy way out. Though Rotary does not give just money but tries to improve th entire lifestyle by helping the needy learn and practice a skill, many don’t do it. If a sewing machine is bought, with the intention of helping the mother sew and sell clothes, to earn a living, the mother might sell the machine for a low price because she wants money immediately. This will bring her back to the streets, moneyless, skill less and no future, for both her and the kids.

Another problem faced with partnering with such micro credit institutions is they are not

That is why we have formed the Rotarian Action Group for Microcredit (RAGM). We’re here to help Rotary clubs around the world launch more microcredit projects, easier and faster, with measurable results, and in a way that capitalizes on Rotary’s unique strengths!

  • A Rotarian Action Group is a voluntary association of Rotarians formed for the purpose of conducting international service projects that advance the object of Rotary.
  • RAGM application filed December 2006, approved February 2007
  • RAGM will identify key Rotarians in each of Rotary’s 529 districts, promoting Microcredit Best Practices.
  • RAGM will provide information, train and/or coach Rotarians on how to establish successful Microcredit projects and partner with international Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs)

Membership is available to Rotarians. Non-Rotarians are invited to participate as partners.

Doug was a member of our group of historians, contributing to the growing resource of Rotary Global History Fellowship. Doug served as chairman of the History section of Rotary Global History Fellowship. He was also the first and only executive vice president of the project, prior to incorporation. His efforts made much of this archived project a much more successful effort. His voluminous knowledge of Rotary’s history and relentless effort for style and substance made an immeasurable difference. His work is ever present in the pages of this archive.

“The vibrancy and viability of Rotary as the most important service club in the history of the world will not depend on membership numbers and mentions in news media. Rather, adherence to its core values will restore Rotary’s standing in the affairs of mankind, and the numbers and mentions will occur naturally. There is an old saying, ‘If you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door.’ Rotary IS a better mousetrap. It’s time that we started treating it that way.” Doug Rudman

There are many people who want to do more than just pity those without even the basic necessities in their daily lives. These people want to make a difference and ensure the needy have a better life forever. Giving them some money might get them dinner that week, but what comes next? More charity? Will they live on charity all their lives?

Too Much Charity

What happens to a person when they live on charity for too long?

They lose the value for money. Though they don’t have enough money, they get it for free and don’t have to work hard for it like the rest of the world. Hence they think it’s easy

They start slacking and even the small need to do something useful that was there in the beginning will vanish as there is no need to do anything. They just have to sit around and wait for the next payment to come in

They start spending it on unnecessary things. Since they have regular funds and have lost the value for money, they will start spending on unnecessary things once the basic necessities are met

The next generation might get inspired to do nothing too. They can see this is easy and they don’t have to really strive to make ends meet, hence they might just slack on their education and take the easy way out

How Rotary Makes A Difference

In order to avoid such a situation, Rotary does charity a little differently. It spends money to teach the needy some skill. It can teach a car enthusiast to change tires or do some mechanical work, so that they can get a job or set up a shop themselves. This will enable them to get a career and earn a steady income on their own.

For an educated person who is good at analysis, the money could be spent to help them learn about the stock market. Though the automated trading platforms like The Brit Method are reducing the need for traders, they are still needed. Teaching a person to analyze the stock market can make them a good investor and earn well as time goes by.

As a result, people learn to do something on their own and realize the true value of money and the importance to have a career. This gives them the much needed self confidence and makes them work rather than sit back and relax.

All Around The World

This organization has spread its arms all around the world and is making a difference to one life at a time. If it teaches a mother, she can support her entire family, rather than knock doors for charity. The children will grow up seeing a strong mother and will strive to make their lives better.

You can become a member too as there are a number of clubs all around the world. Find the district club in your area or the club in your city, approach them to start making a difference in someone’s life. This is an on-going process and will give your money greater value than precious metals.

The government policies or a war can change the way even good deeds are done

This just shows how a change in the government policies or a war can change the way even good deeds are done. Rotary was not conducting some business that was against the government or any group. It was formed to help others and even that could not continue after the invasion.

If this was the case for charity, imagine how other businesses would have suffered. Businesses those days were not as big or wide spread like today. There were no stocks sold world over to get funds from investors across the world. Today stock market has grown to a great extent and gone are the days where people feared investing their hard earned money in the stock market. Today with software like HBSwiss, that automates all the investment activities for you and moves your funds as it deems fit, one can invest in the stock market without a worry.

When you have a software for everything, there is no worry about human error or favoritism. To the computer all are equal and it will treat all monies equally. There is no room for blame game when an investment goes bad. The calculations are all done by the machine and the investment decisions are taken based on the risk profile of the investor, the stock, market movement, etc.

Even those who are not well versed with the stock market but would like to invest and earn a little more, can do so with this software. When everything is automated, there is no need for you to follow the market closely or worry about the change in policies, etc. there is no need for you to read charts, calculate returns, etc. the computer will do it all and move you money into the best option available.

Since everything is recorded, there will be no cases of forgotten investment or the usual human errors. The computer will not forget how the stock market behaved when a particular company released some data or news that was crucial to the stock. This way, were some historical event to repeat itself, the software will know what to do and will compare the market behavior and take steps accordingly.

Were Rotary club an online club that did not require a physical place or person to be present in a particular country, the war or a change in the government may not affect the clubs much. The activities and charities would have continued without any interference for Rotary has funds flowing in from all over the world. If a meeting were tobe held in a proper venue which requires people to come in person, the situation around, safety, etc would have to be considered.

However, were it to be held online through a video conference or something similar, the chaos outside your house will hardly affect the meeting. The projects can be handled smoothly without any interference. The problem here is not a club shutting down due to political unrest in that country. It is the entire process of removing the club and its members from the organization and then installing everyone back as a member, forming a new club at a different location, if the same location is not available.

In the recent past, the levels of stress have sky-rocketed, and this has brought along with it many physical as well as emotional troubles. Increased levels of stress teamed with poor lifestyle, unhealthy dietary habits, lack of sleep all of it together add to the existing problems.  One of the fastest growing problems of today is obesity. This condition has affected millions of people and is alarmingly on the rise. Though it may seem like harmless extra weight in the first instance, it brings along with it numerous health problems.

One of the chief problems that come with obesity are cardiovascular conditions that include heart diseases, high blood pressure, increased levels of cholesterol. It also increases the risk of diabetes as well as arthritis. While considering the emotional effects of obesity, it affects a person’s aesthetic appearance and this often affects a person’s self-confidence. It also may become the cause of depression in people or people become uncomfortable with themselves.

As a solution to this, people often subject themselves to extreme diets which most often do not last for long and end up with the ‘yo-yo effect’ with weight loss and weight gain. Another option is spending hours sweating it out at the gym.

Considering both the above options are difficult to do, one always has a single question in mind and that is if there is an easier option to lose weight? To this, there are many commercially available products that might burn a hole in your pockets and still not deliver the desired effects. Among all the commercial bogus products, FitoSpray is one such product that has brought about a revolution.

FitoSpray is a natural high quality product that is highly effective in weight loss and weight management. The product has been tried and tested and proven to be useful to burn accumulated fat and bring about weight loss.

FitoSpray is a especially designed product that has to be used in the oral cavity. It not just brings about weight loss but also leaves a fresh breath in the mouth. Its main function is to improve the metabolism of the body along with flushing out all the fluids that get retained in the body. It is also an effective fat burner.

This product has been successfully used by many well-known celebrities as well, as so one can be sure of its efficacy.

The main composition of FitoSpray is made up of natural extracts. They include ingredients like green coffee: A natural antioxidant that suppresses hunger and helps burning of fat

Garcinia: Helps suppress food cravings and gives a sensation of fullness.

Goji Berry: It makes use of fats for energy production. It is very heart friendly

Mango and Akai Berry: It reduces the accumulation of fat.

Citric acid: Aids digestive functions

and mint leaves: This gives the product the freshness that is required to spray in the mouth. It is also important for bile production as well as burning of fat.

Since the FitoSpray has to be directly sprayed into the oral cavity it gets absorbed very easily and begins its fat burning process almost instantly. Its ideal blend of ingredients makes this spray an ideal product for use that not just shows great results but is also safe for consumption. Ordering FitoSpray is also very easy, as it is available on the official website at attractive prices.

When it comes to money, one looks for various options to make it grow. It may be for be themselves or even to donate and aid projects like the one undertaken by Rotary International. Though one has to be a member of the Rotary club to participate in its project, one need not necessarily be a trader or employ a trader to invest in the stock market. One can invest through the software HBSwiss. Here all the investment decisions are taken and all you will need to do is update as and when you want to increase your investment or move your funds to a different stock.

So, how does one invest in binary options? What are the information needed to successfully trade in these options? The details are given below:

These Binary options require you to decide whether the asset in question will move up or down. Determining if the value will go up or come down, determines the outcome of your investment. These options have an expiry date and the value of these options when they expire is what decides the outcome.

If the trader dealing with the binary option feels the value will go down by the expiry date, he will purchase a put option. On the other hand if the trader expects the value to go up, he will purchase a call option.

On the date of expiry, if the value of the option has moved upwards, all traders who have purchased a call option will get paid in full even if there is a difference in the price quoted by them and the actual price of the option.

On the other hand, if the value of the option has moved downwards, all traders who have purchased a put option will get paid. The traders who have purchased a call option will lose all the money invested.

When a trader loses all the money he invests, it is called out of the money and when he earns the money, it is called in the money. The traders usually buy a few of both options, to spread out the risk and not incur a heavy loss.

The binary options have a zero sum game as what one trader wins is what another loses. Though this is the case for all stocks that are traded on an exchange, they don’t have an expiry date and the NAV changes every day. When a person invests in stocks, it is a longer investment than the binary option.

An investor generally invests in a variety of stocks to spread the risk. If all the stocks are bought within the same industry, if the government passes a rule that has a negative impact on the industry, the investor stands to lose it all. Hence spreading the investments over various industries will enable the investor to hedge the risk.

Gathering this type of information is crucial to keep one safe and prepared, no matter what it is for. Getting to know the history and workings of Rotary can help an aspiring member to know what is really expected off them and decide if they are prepared for it.

The country of Mali borders the Sierra Desert of Africa with Algeria to the North and Mauritania to the West.
It is a poor country and a former colony of France.
The country has a population of over 20 million with limited infrastructure and public facilities, hence, many international Rotary Clubs have been involved in many and varied international service projects over the years.

There are 6 clubs in Mali, the first and oldest of which is the Rotary Club of Bamako which was chartered on 31 May 1961.
All other clubs but one are also based in Bamako.

One of the many international service projects involved the The Oregon State Rotarians and the Downtown Eugene Oregon Rotary Club which served as the lead club for the project.
Steve Savelich was the lead Rotarian from the State of Oregon and represented the Rotarians with the Rotary Club of Bamako Djoliba.
This project related to the the Hospital National du Point G Referral and Teaching Hospital of Mali, located in the capital city of Bamako.

To a young set of parents in Afghanistan

To a young set of parents in Afghanistan, it was a life-saving immunization for their five-month-old son. To a woman with seven children in Malaysia, it was a loan to start a sewing business that enabled her to feed her children. To North Koreans, it was an ambulance that equipped a hospital to be able to take care of them. To thousands of college students in almost every country on earth, it was the chance to study abroad, with all expenses paid, and learn their educational specialty up close and personal.

Money is a much needed commodity for a number of reasons for different people. When people need money, they are willing to work hard for it but they just don’t know where to start or what to do. Not many will have the educational qualification to get into a business or the stock market. Many times, they are not given the chance to prove their worth. They don’t get a venue to showcase their talent and ability which could very well help them earn more than enough, with some dignity. As a result many lead a poor lifestyle or resort to other activities to earn the much needed money. They either beg or steal or sometimes just give up on life.

Rotary finds such causes and helps the people in need. It makes a change tot the lives of the people in different ways. Charity is not done the same way in Rotary, projects are undertaken and a new beginning is given to the people. If there is a talented mind that can deal with stocks and play the stockmarket game well, Rotary will try and get him a chance to work in the stock market, so that his talent is not wasted. Even if we have automated softwares like HBSwiss, traders are still in need and to be one, one needs to be well qualified.

There are no limits to Rotary’s reach. This is one organization, ready to help people they need it the most. Just collecting funds and giving it to those who need it may not be the best option at all times. Many will need that money to be put to some use. People need to be empowered.

Ask anyone who has been touched by The Rotary Foundation what it is and every answer will be different. Ask anyone who has been touched by The Rotary Foundation just how important it is, and every answer will be identical.

The Rotary Foundation was born as an endowment fund in 1917, the brainchild of RI President Arch C. Klumph. It was reborn 12 years later in the form we know today, The Rotary Foundation of Rotary international. However, it wouldn’t be until after the passing of Paul P. Harris in 1947 that TRF would reach the financial health and world importance that it enjoys today.

Technically speaking, it is a not-for-profit corporation that supports the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs. It is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.

Its expenses are born solely by the interest earned on its contributions over a three year period.

As an endowment fund for Rotary “to do good in the world,” its initial contribution was US $26.50 in 1918. When it became The Rotary Foundation in 1928, it had a value of US $5,739.07. In the most recent year that we have complete figures, the Foundation had more than US $73 million contributed in 2000-01. But, that’s not what The Rotary Foundation is all about. Its event-filled 85 years has been a story of Rotarians learning the value of service to humanity, and the citizens of the earth benefiting from that service.

The Humanitarian Programs of the foundation help fuel international Rotary projects to improve the quality of life, providing health care, clean water, food, education, and other essential needs primarily in the developing world.

A major Humanitarian Program is PolioPlus, which seeks to eradicate the polio virus worldwide by Rotary’s 100th birthday in 2005. Through its Educational Programs, the Foundation provides funding for some 1,200 students to study abroad each year. Grants are also awarded to university teachers to teach in developing countries and for exchanges of business and professional people. Even its former participants in the Foundation’s programs can continue their affiliation with Rotary as Foundation Alumni.

Welcome to the History of The Rotary Foundation.

“Looking at my Pelican History of America’s index, I cannot find any references to “Rotary” or “Paul Harris”.  I do, incidentally, find the names of some eminent Rotarians such as Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D Roosevelt.

We shall have to find our own history.

Though there are records of various histories, one can refer to, sometimes we will have to create our own history. It will then be talked about or referred to by others and the generations to come. When you do something that changes the world or the way people do something, it creates history and goes down in the books as a historical event.

If the find is useful and people benefit greatly from it, it will be well remembered and use as a reference even if the product or service itself becomes obsolete.

One such thing that will be well remembered and change the way people work will be The Brit Method. This is an automated trading platform where anyone can trade in binary options, without having to learn about the market or deal with a trader in person. The binary robot will receive trade signals and make all the investment moves by itself, based on the investor’s preferences, risk appetite, etc.

This enables anyone and everyone to trade in binary options. This is one of the investment options that has great returns without much risk or time. There are only two outcomes to the investment and the trader has to decide if the asset value will increase or decrease. If the trader predictions come true, he stands to gain immensely.

Now, with the automated system, the  need for a trader is removed and the investor can invest himself, with the help of this software. The system will take care of the rest and invest in the best possible options.

Understanding the past is, obviously, important in helping to explain the present. Why, for example, did the movement expand so rapidly? The answer lies with the early pioneers who understood that the “Booster” concept of self interest was flawed and only appropriate for short-term advantage. If the movement could adapt to serve the community both at home and abroad, it would be able to attract men (and women) from every part of the globe.

Rotary has to provide  history as a resource for all of its 30,000 clubs. In the age of the world-wide web, it is so easy for one inaccuracy to spread like a common cold. The “History of Rotary” Project web site should be a repository of all definitive answers.

Rotarians, the world over, can examine the past and also read of Rotary critics such as G. B. Shaw or H. L. Mencken and realise that in reality, the sternest critics are club members themselves.

So, let us learn from the past and try to live up to those who began these Adventures in Service.”

It is now an established fact that a poor lifestyle that includes almost no nutritional care, sedentary lifestyles, lack of sleep and the addition of stress has caused various health hazards to rise. One such hazard which is rising at an alarming rate is obesity.

Obesity affects not just the looks of a person but also causes their self-esteem to get hit. Apart from that, it also invites other health conditions that include cardiovascular diseases like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other conditions like diabetes mellitus and even affects the locomotor system by causing conditions like arthritis.

Brief histories of the first clubs of each geographic region

Rotary Club of Santo Domingo, the First Club of Dominican Republic

Rotary International District 4060

Part of our Rotary Global History in Central American/Caribbean Section

When you are investing in the stock market, there are a number of factors to be considered apart from the amount you are investing or the stocks you are investing in. there are a number of calculations to be made and many charts to be analyzed, if you want the best returns on your investment. If you are not well versed with these calculations, the HBSwiss software can be of great help as it does it all for you.

It was not until Feb. 27, 1943 when Rotary settled in Santo Domingo, then Ciudad Trujillo, the first Rotary club in the Dominican Republic. It was the first new country to Rotary since 1939, that no countries were entering new areas of organization was due to the war. The present regime was not pleased with the establishment of a democratic institution, apolitical, where distinguished men of various trades or professional, without discrimination of race or religion, should be organized with the noble ideal of friendship and companionship in terms of service the community.

However, the president Trujillo, knowing that this organization exists only in countries with regimes given by the people, and certainly, to create an image abroad of its democratic government and perhaps with some other purpose, agreed, and in principle gave its support to the entrance of Rotary, tolerated as ceased to survive, but bad for his liking, other fraternal and service suffered distrust of the dictatorship that smothered its humanitarian principles and broke the rules of decency, seriousness brotherhood and coexistence that justified its raison d’etre.

Dominican Republic and Cuba are countries that by their geographical proximity and historical antecedents have always been intertwined and especially bound by an interplay of idealistic men, and in this case, it had to be a Cuban doctor who came Manuel Galigarca to help the Dominicans, led by Don Andres Pastoriza, to establish our first club, the Rotary Club of Ciudad Trujillo, as it was called then to the city of Santo Domingo, a cousin of America.

For Rotary, the entry of our country in the Rotary family was an extraordinary event. Although the basic principles of the organization really did not meld with the socio-political structure that then prevailed in the Dominican Republic, but it may be considered was the triumph of good and right above the injustice and despotism.

First Steps

The achievement persuasive and brave as were mainly gift Andres Pastoriza and Dr. Valverde. Galigarca Manuel, director of Rotary International, who skillfully fought the all-embracing desire that ruled the nation, absolutism contrary to everything that by natural law has to be exclusive right of human being. It was necessary to avoid creating any type of company that would aim to bring together men and fraternize, and less if they should belong to different levels of social life, as it is in Rotary.

And on another occasion, in a first attempt, the idea of forming a Rotary club had been rejected. In the interview held for such purposes and Don Don Andrs Manuel with the president, Generalissimo Trujillo, to achieve the consent of the Government for the installation of Rotary in our country, earned much of the special consideration that he enjoyed in our Pastoriza social, appreciation to the President and professed the wisdom and gallant diplomacy; latter as the first personal expression of who we are highlighted as follows:

“After the President to fully explain the essential purpose and goals of Rotary, which is to cultivate friendship and companionship, both nationally and internationally and help the people in need, he responded: “The first part is very good, we need friends, but as for the second in the country to help the poor government response to this … response, Galigarca, knowing the power of nationalist fervor Trujillo, argued: “Chief, from the founding of the Rotary Club of Havana, in the collection of flags that decks its presidential table, there is a hole beside the Cuban flag and it is because , In the sentiments of every member of this club, this must be for siting the Dominican flag. ” And why not put? Replied the president.

Because only the flags of countries where there may appear Rotary there. To which Trujillo responded with pride: “Well that will make the Rotary Club to get the Dominican flag.” So much of the narration Pastoriza. Since that time, by the way the club was formed and for the help they provided training for their most intimate partners, it is clear that Trujillo, in principle, provided the requested sponsorship to the Rotary Club.

It is clear that when the president gave the extended audience to Galigarca, Pastoriza had at least a willingness to hear the reasons with regard to the proposal, but what finally did enter at the event was the love of their flag, so that it could look with all other partners on the continent and in every Rotary club in the Americas and the rest of the world.

First Preparatory Meeting

The day on February 10 1943, at 1:30 pm, when convened, it became the first preparatory session. They met in Santo Domingo Country Club, 29 of 36 guests, with the aim of forming a Rotary club. Don Andres Pastoriza explained the reason for the meeting and then submitted to Dr. Galigarca Manuel, director of Rotary International, who came from Cuba especially for that purpose and who rightly made an interesting presentation on the origin, aims and purposes of Rotary. Dio released details that were heard with great attention and appreciation for those present.

Julio Ortega Frier suggested to the audience that Pastoriza was appointed as president of the club in training and then, at the initiative of the President proclaimed, were appointed:.

 Vice President
 Vice President
 Treasurer  Rafael Esteva
 Sergeant of Arms

Fernando Carvajal and the Director of Rotary, Dr. Galigarca Manuel.

We make this clarification because it has been said that the founders were 35 because Ernesto B. was not present at the preparatory meetings. However, he attended the opening session and for a time maintained his activity in the Club.

Ideas were exchanged on the occasion of the events to be held for the surrender of the charter and the honorable visit of the President of Rotary International, Ing. accompanied by his distinguished wife, who would honor the deal rotate Dominican personally Carvajal of all matters relating to the inauguration of the Club, to move solely for that purpose from his residence in Lima, Peru.

The Rotary Club of Santo Domingo was officially recognized by Rotary International on February 17, 1943, and indeed the February 27, the date of special significance to the Dominican people at afternoon, in solemn acts headed by Chairman of Rotary International, Ing. Fernando Carvajal and the Director of Rotary, Dr. Galigarca Manuel, was officially opened the work with full tuition for the delivery of the Charter authorizing the new Rotary Club. After the President explain why The meeting was the presentation of the President of Rotary International and the Director, the latter already known by most of the competition, yielding the floor to President Carvajal, who with eloquent concepts inspired by the Rotary philosophy, delivered to the President of a new Club bell to open and close the meetings. The thought address by the President of Rotary International ended with these beautiful words: “That is Santo Domingo, the torch of American culture.”

The Director of Rotary International and Special Delegate of the Rotary Club of Havana for the formation of the new club, Dr. Galigarca, was pleased by the recognition that had made her work and said to feel immense joy for the crystallization of the idea of Rotary to install in Santo Domingo. He delivered on behalf of the Rotary Club of Havana Rotary Banner, gifts in his name in addition to the new club with a Mallet made with precious woods, which serve to guide the work.

Sergeant of Arms, to reciprocate the attentions of President Carvajal, offered to send a fact Mallet with mahogany centennial of the historic ruins of St. Nicholas’ monument that was the first hospital in Santo Domingo and American, which added the President Rotary International, and indeed, Lic. Bonilla Attila personally handed the Mallet referred to Ing. Fernando Carbajal at the Rotary Convention in Saint Louis, Missouri, held from 18 to May 20, 1943.

The Rotary Jose Sanchez Arcilla, Charg d’affaires of Cuba, took the floor to express that the creation of the Rotary Club was made possible through the strong support of President Trujillo and the valuable contribution given to this beautiful companion piece by R.

It was declared a recess to continue the meeting at the former palace of City Hall, then Administrative Council, facing the Parque Colon, with the assistance of the President of the Republic, the President of Rotary International, the Director of RI, of the total enrollment, Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country and people representing various activities in this capital, all accompanied by their wives. He spoke the President of the Club for dedicating the act. The President delivered a speech revealing beautiful as an expert on the essential principles of the nascent institution, pledging its support for the new organization, which implicitly warned to be part of the registration as we entered several characters who played important official positions of government.

Fernando Carvajal, who eloquently spoke extensively about the rationale of Rotary, the companionship of their programs and inspiring the sensitive and humanitarian mission of the organization especially in those times of war (it was 1943) and on so many edifying concepts to illustrate Rotarians Dominicans.

Address by PRI Ing. Fernando Carvajal in delivering the charter to the Rotary club Ciudad Trujillo (now Santo Domingo)

[The PRI Ing. Carvajal] Gift to the head of state with two flags, one of Peru, his homeland, and another of Rotary.

It was a beautiful reception where they showed how they started strongly, as hard and with visible demonstrations, the lofty ideal of the cog in this land of simple people and excellent Christian virtues, where the law is nobleness and hospitality .

Rotary was formally installed in the Dominican Republic and started well in uninterrupted work with fervor, earnestness and enthusiasm.

Work after the establishment of the club

At the meeting on March 11 next, held at the Ateneo Dominicano, be it resolved that the official name of the Club would be Rotary Club of Ciudad Trujillo, but in matters of disclosure could be used for the Rotary Club of Ciudad Trujillo. It was understood that in accordance with the regulations of Rotary could be admitted every month during the first year of its founding, three new partners.

The Club was alternately sitting on the premises of the Ateneo Dominicano, in the Youth Club and a few meetings were made in the Jaragua Hotel. Despite the resolution that took the club to hold its inaugural sitting in that hotel, this very important meeting, as we reported in previous paragraphs, took effect in the Dominican Ateneo.

Club grew, as it had been given effect to the resolution of carrying three partners each month during the first year and also the growing costs and needs. The Secretariat was underneath the Club Antilles in the room to graciously offered the distinguished fellow Rotary Ing. Chairman of that community center. To solve the increasingly growing obligations resolved in the meeting on October 5 of 1943, increasing the annual quota of 15 to 24 pesos and the entry fee of 10 to 25 pesos .

The Rotary Club of Santo Domingo obtained legal status, on Sept. 21, 1943.

It is fair to appropriate the important role that clubs for Dominicans and especially for the newly formed were visiting Dr. Galigarca Manuel, Dr. Lubin Agustin Gomez, Ernesto and Dr. Bernard Trincheri. Echemenda Jose, during the years 1943, 1944 and 1945los last three, not the district governors. Cuba 25. To all of them, but especially for Galigarca, eminent doctor, who also took advantage of his visits to the country to enact a series of medical lectures at the University of Santo Domingo, Dominican must rotate the grata remembrance and appreciation.

The seed had been launched in Rotary fruitful path. The Dominican is given to the spirit of service and friendship. Remedied easily be understood that the common needs if use is made of the help and cooperation of all. One man given to social life and in a spirit of service can always do something useful, but when I met many men with such virtues, the joint effort, organized and well managed, can solve many problems big or small, but all benefits to the community.

Our country, on the occasion of the installation of Rotary was mentioned in many organs of the advertising world. The Convention St. Louis, Missouri. U.S., we have alluded to the May 20, 1943, adopted a resolution recommending to all Rotary clubs in the world devote its last meeting in February 1944 to commemorate the centenary of our independence, beautiful gesture of international solidarity that Rotary cal transpired and very deep in the heart of the nascent Dominican and Rotarians around the village. To match as significant deference and appreciation toward our country, was issued a series of explanatory booklets with historical, geographical, industry and trade that were sent to All Rotary clubs in the world.

During its first year the new Rotary Club, composed of men of dynamic and broad possibilities, was the scene of wonderful ideas and positive realities which offered a valuable service to the country and Rotary, in the varied aspects of its work. Many of its founders, almost everyone took Rotary seriously and enthusiastically.

He was an inspiration to externalize and translate into action their desire to serve. Within these constructive ideas, their size and the lesson from the political point of view would offer, deserves special mention of the Student House.

“As part of an R.I. project to incorporate into a new headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, pieces of stone from every country with a Rotary Club, Port Louis RC , Mauritius, had a block of blue basalt prepared, which was shipped in August 1966. These stones were native stones from the country of origin and were to have the name of the first Rotary Club from that country and the year of its founding. The country stones apparently did exist in the Ridge Avenue building and were incorporated into a wall. They were not incorporated into the current Headquarters building when R.I. moved in the 1980s. There are two stones in the archives as examples – they are 12″ x 12” square – and one metal square that says: ‘Each of these native stones was contributed by the first Rotary Club in the country the stone represents. The plaque identifies the country, the first Rotary Club there and the year in which it was formed.’

As the members of the Rotary Club from all over the world work hard to create a sense of happiness and friendship among people across all countries, one must work that hard on themselves as well. It has been noted that with hectic lifestyles come along poor dietary habits, lack of sleep and practically no time to look after oneself.

This gives rise to consumption of food and drinks that cause more harm than good. Foods and drinks that contain high amounts of sugar, or mono sodium glutamate, might taste well but cause the entry of toxins into the body. These toxins, in turn, affect the organs of the body that deviate from their normal functioning. This gives rise to a highly toxic body that requires detoxification.

However, for detoxification, visiting a doctor causes apprehension because not only are the procedures long and scary but are expensive as well. Instead of that, an excellent option is Detoxic.

It is a natural product that has been derived from natural herbal extracts of as many as 20 components. It is a simple way in which your body can be cleansed from within and all the toxins flushed out.

It benefits the body by improving the immune system that helps to give a clearer brighter skin. It also aids the gastrointestinal functioning and causes relief from deteriorated digestion. It detoxifies the skin, intestines, lymph nodes, liver and other organs revitalizing the body completely.

Placing an order for Detoxic is also very easy. The product is available and can be delivered with ease when the order is placed on its official website. There are also many promotional offers that are available on the website for you to take advantage of.
